HP MINI 210 MORE DETAILS EMERGE

HP hasn’t officially announced the new Mini 210 netbook yet, but the company has uploaded a support page with software and driver downloads. The Mini 210, it seems, will support a range of operating systems because downloads are available for Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7. Drivers are available for the Atheros LAN card, graphics and HP quick Launch buttons. Bluetooth may be available as an option because there is a Bluetooth driver for download.

The HP Mini 210 Pine Trail netbook is powered by an Atom N450 processor. It has a 10.1 inch display with an optional touch-screen. The netbook is scheduled to be launched on January 7th. There will be 2 versions. The standard version is priced at $279.99. Te HD edition with high resolution display will cost $329.99.

HP’s affiliate catalog has also listed a Compaq CQ10 netbook which will probably be a rebranded version of the Mini 210. HP sells its notebooks under the Compaq brand name in Europe. This model is priced at $259.99.
